our Story
Dynamite Beer Company gets it’s name from the road where the first taproom was established. The first location sprang up like an oasis in the desert on Dynamite Rd. in Cave Creek, Arizona. The road and taproom name is a nod to the mining industry that once thrived in Arizona and the outlaws brave enough, or crazy enough, to do it.
Dynamite Beer Co. was created by husband and wife team Mike & Laura Chapman who were raised in Arizona. Mike Chapman is a long time Arizona musician and their love for music and the desert come together in the brand.

The two met Derek Imes, a seasoned Craft Beer Entrepreneur with a deep passion for music, desert mountain biking and scaling beer brands. The dream team was born. The three are now the founders of Dynamite Cave Creek Brewery & Music Venue. Their knowledge, experience and passion will grow this brand into a nationally recognized success.

Imagine that our taproom is a craft beer destination and our concert venue has the reputation as one of the coolest hidden gem venues in America. Imagine that our most dedicated employees own a piece of the business and that they miss “work” on their days off.
Everything in life is born twice. Once in the imagination and then into reality. This is the reality for Dynamite Beer. We will become the most iconic Arizona beer brand. We will build a taproom and concert venue that the best of the best will dream of playing at. And yes, our hardest working, most dedicated employees will own a part of it all.
