The MARKET

THE TAPROOM

Cave creek

Cave Creek is a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, located in Maricopa County. It's known for its rural feel, highly rated public schools, and low crime rates. The town is named after a small stream that flows through the hills northeast of the area and into Paradise Valley.

The 5 zip codes immediately surrounding the proposed location have a population of over 87,000, that matches our age demographic with an average household income of $150,000+ and average home value of $500,000+.

Arizona's population continues to surge as people move to the state in droves. According to the 2022 census, Arizona boasted 3% growth from 2020-2022 ranking it as the 7th fastest growing state in the nation. As the central cities fill up, the population is moving to the suburbs including Cave Creek and the surrounding cities.

Cave Creek is surrounded by many other rural communities which are fast growing with little to no options for dining, drinking and entertainment. These include Carefree, New River, Anthem, North Phoenix and North Scottsdale. The population of these areas is about 220,000 according to the 2022 census with an average household income of over $150,000.

Market Growth

The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has secured land in North Phoenix, just 20 minutes from our location, for its factory. TSMC Arizona’s $65B investment in three fabs will create 6000 high-tech, high-wage jobs, and the company’s suppliers will bring tens of thousands more employment opportunities in construction and supplier jobs.

The project is supported by a construction workforce of nearly 10,000 on this project daily. The company’s recent agreement with the Arizona Building and Construction Trades Council has a focus on building a construction workforce that can support TSMC Arizona in the near and long term with employment opportunities.

We will no doubt see the market for Dynamite Beer Co grow substantially in the coming years to support the strength of our business.

competition

The closest brewery to Historic Cave Creek is over 20 miles away. Within the historic district there are many restaurants and bars that fill during the busy season. These are primarily locally owned businesses.

Restaurant options are considered "touristy" and include BBQ, Mexican, Pizza, American and several breakfast options. The bars are either Western themed or biker themed and one Irish pub. While many offer live music, it is exclusively small local talent or country music. The closest music and event venue comparable to ours is about 40 miles away in Downtown Phoenix.

Our concept will provide a much-needed alternative to the cowboy and biker bars or tourist restaurants. The primary three bars on the strip reportedly make over $25 million in revenue during busy season alone. There is more than enough market to go around.

When we enter the market, we will be poised to far surpass the conservative financial forecast we've created for this project.

The arizona craft beer market

Arizona’s craft beer market shows steady growth with plenty of room for new craft breweries to enter the market. In 2023, The Shop from Tempe, AZ topped the growth charts showing a whopping 50% growth from 2022 according to a national report from the Brewers Association.

Arizona has 2.4 craft breweries per capita (per 100,000 21+ Adults) which ranks 42nd compared to other states according to the Brewers Association. The image below is taken from brewersassociation.org

The Arizona craft beer market has potential that we will tap right into with an incredible product and all-star team.
